Well, thanks for the visit! You must be a little bit curious about me to be looking here? So here's a bit about me:
I'm a retired mechanic by trade, living in Middlewich, Cheshire and as you have guessed my hobby is photography. Until a few years ago, before old age caught up with me my main interest was the outdoors. For the past 25 years I have been into mountaineering, with a special interest in winter climbing. I always carried a camera but prior to the climbing I liked hillwalking. I carried a medium format camera in those days and did my developing in a shed kitted out as a darkroom. But my photography days were numbered when I sold the Mamiya RB67 for some ice screws and a set of crampons! Years later, as old age caught up I knew I needed something a bit less energetic and reverting to photography came naturally.
I enjoy motocross and landscape photography these days
